Description: WAVEWATCHIII data now extends out to seven days forecast All of our WAVEWATCH forecast data and charts now go out 7 days. GFS model data and chart now available - NOAA's Global Forecast System(GFS) provide a global data set of variable such as air temp, surface pressure, 500MB charts, precipitation plus more. There is also convective analysis using Lifted Index and CAPE. This is espesially usefull in tropical regions where small squalls cant be seen in pressure or wind charts. These charts and data can help determine the thunderstorm and depression risk. New Chart Navigation - Using the new flash interface, the chart times are now adjustable to time zone. The actual time on the chart itself is GMT, but the flash will show day of week in the selected time zone. WAVEWATCH charts are also now availabe at three hour intervals. Long Range GFS Charts - This provides charts from day 8 to 16 for surface pressure, realtive humidity, air temp, dew temp, and clould cover%. Of course, do not expect a high degree of accuracy on these long range charts.
