Sailing Yacht Kyra
The idea to build the yacht was born in 1986 when it’s owner Mr. Leinenbach sailed with his first classic sailingboat ‘Kyra’. She was build in 1943 and had nice classic lines. After nearly 20 jears a new kyra should be created - a combination of classic lines with modern sailing properties. Frank Neubelt and his team from Newcruise Yacht Design & Project Hamburg were the right men to design her. From the first sketches to the christening it took almost 3 years. The very first trip has been sucsessfully made in july 2005. Kyra sailt in 32 hours the distance of nearly 200 sm between gdansk poland and godland sweden and shows her brilliant kind of sailing.

GEM 550 Cyber Port
Welcome to the GEM 550 Cyber Port! The unofficial cyber home of the GEM 550 Trailer Sailer (TS). The aim of the site is to promote the GEM 550 and other TS sailing in Australia up to 6 metres in length. Although many of the modern designs have drifted toward outright racers I still think that the average owner involved in trailer sailing wants a boat that can go around the buoys but can also be used for some leisurely cruising. So it is the intention of this site to promote TS (to 6 metres in length) that are suitable for both of these aspects of sailing.

YACHT Moments
Yacht Moments, Yacht Racing, Single Handed, Sailing, Sponsor, Advertising opportunity, Ian Williams. Moments is also the first yacht to use the "Goulooze" patented "Ultimate" Spar, A mast that he designed that uses no welding on the tapering which he claims weakens the mast by 35% at an area where the strength is needed, his patented design maintains its strength at the taper, allowing a taper throughout the mast, reducing the weight of the mast at the top, this in-turn reduces the heeling momentum of the yacht, as every kg on the top of the mast needs to be compensated by +\-10kg on the keel.

Lulworth official website
Lulworth was launched in Hampshire, Southampton, in 1920 with the name of Terpsichore (the Greek muse of dancing) in the “White Brothers” Shipyard where she was built for her first Owner, Mr. R. H. Lee, designed by Herbert W. White and registered on the Lloyd’s Register of Yachts with One hundred-eighty-nine tons of displacement.
The hull of this imposing gaff cutter, 119,5 feet over all, was constructed with a structure of forged and riveted steel frame work, planking in Honduras mahogany, deck in southern yellow pine, bulkhead, gunwale and garboards in teak.
The yacht represents the most important boat of the entire production of the White Brothers Shipyard and starting from 1921 she was the protagonist of the most important
Regattas of her category, registering numerous successes.
In 1924 she was bought from Herbert Weld Blundell who re-baptized her as Lulworth.
The complex reconstruction of the long story of Lulworth started with the recovery of the original plans kept in Lloyd’s Registry of Shippings’ archives, together with an almost complete compendium of news, information and documents from the National Maritime Museum of London, on English boats of that period.
