Description: Welcome to the web site for our beloved sailing vessel, Exhilaration. The boat is awesome, but the team of passionate friends and sailors that makes her go is the true Exhilaration! Exhilaration is a 33 foot sloop, built in Denmark by X-Yachts, Exhilaration is moored at the City Island Yacht Club in Bronx, New York, and is sailed primarily sailed on Long Island Sound. The previous owner needed to get his exwife off the boat loan and given that he had been thinking racing in one design would be more fun than PHRF, he decided to sell Exhilaration. As the team was really clicking and had won a good set of races in 2006, the crew didn't want to see the boat go and the team fall apart. Besides, owning the boat is the only way to get the position you desire. So, two members of the crew bought Exhilaration. Now they just need to sell Sean's boat Starlight. And the rest, shall we say, is history.
