The Pistakee Yacht Club was founded in 1897 as a family oriented sailing/social organization to promote good fellowship, fun, and camaraderie among active sailors and members.
The clubhouse is open for social events from Memorial Day through Labor Day; with plenty of events scheduled throughout the summer.
Our sailing school teaches the fundamentals of sailing and is open to the public. We encourage anyone who is interested to learn to sail to attend the fun and informative classes.
We have competitive racing on the weekends. Our club is associated with US Sailing, Inland Lakes Yachting Association and the Wisconsin Yachting Association.

Storm Trysail Club
The first two generations of American ocean racers - the one of the 'twenties that founded the CCA and the one of the 'thirties and 'forties that founded The Storm Trysail Club found the best test of a boats was whether she could blast her way across the Gulf Stream to Bermuda in safety and reasonable ease and then house her crew once she got there. The ultimate challenge under that standard was a two-or three-week Trans-Atlantic race from New England of Bermuda across the North Atlantic to Scandinavia.
