Our club has long year experience in organisation of major regattas and is well known for hospitality. Recently, YC Burja has organized the 1998 Soling European Championship and has taken care after one racing field of the 2001 470 World Championship organized by YC Jadro in Koper. Izola, situated in the North Adriatic, where the Mediterranean sea reaches into the heart of Europe.
