Description: While hydrogen production is not yet cost effective for most applications, this compact and clean burning form of energy lends itself well to a sailboat with a hydrogen fuel cell. The advent of powering an electric motor would allow charter yachts and day-sailors to slip in and out of harbors as quietly and gracefully as under sail-power. Also the house circuit could draw from the hydrogen power at will during long voyages.
